The second meeting of the “Direction 4.0” project was held on the 3rd of June 2019. The E. Mattei Institute participates as a partner in this project and hosted the second meeting that was held in the library. The partners talked about the various phases of the project, in particular the completion of the multilingual translation of the compendium that had been previously created. After discussing the various phases of the project and ending the meeting, the partners visited some of the school’s workshops and labs. In the picture there is an industrial robot of the school, this type of robot is used in the automotive industries for welding and assembly. In the photo it is discussed the functioning of this specific model. It is important that schools have the resources to support young people in the study of STEM subjects, with these tools students experiment firsthand and acquire skills required by industry 4.0.
